“This Kwik Trip is my COVID survival shopping for essentials store. I buy my milk, bread, butter, eggs, cheese, meats, lettuce, onions, bananas, oranges, and snacks here. I have the app and KT debit card, both help me save more money with coupons, sales & rewards. I even won 4 Twins tickets last year through one of their sweepstakes! How cool is that?! I love the Karuba Gold coffee, on sale Mondays for $1! The frappes are $1 off on Thursdays. This store is very clean and the staff is great. I marked off one star because they do not enforce the statewide Wear a Mask mandate. Our family is high risk. I've not once seen them ask anyone to put on a mask. Last month, 14 people came in without a mask in the 15 minutes I was there, after 11PM. Maybe it's a store or company policy to not confront people who don't wear masks?? I'd feel safer if they did enforce the statewide mask mandate. Please wear a mask! How do you think people get COVID in nursing homes? Health care workers, and workers that supply them, need gas, groceries and milk too. They breathe that unfiltered air you breathe out when you choose to not wear a mask, they can be infected though the eyes for HOURS after you leave a store. My MIL is fighting COVID as we speak, she can breathe better now, but now has congestive heart failure & is having mini-strokes! Yes I'm ranting, but I've studied Community/Public Health in college; I've had Epidemiology. We protect each other, and people we never see, when we all wear a mask (over the mouth and nose). Protect essential workers too; WEAR A MASK! Thank you.”

I called her 3 or 4 different times with a million questions because I couldn't decide between this property and another and was trying to weigh out pros and cons. The only reason I didn't choose this one was because I decided to go with a 3 bedroom rather than 2. But otherwise everything else seemed great. “I usually go with a large latte and it's done well. Awesome small-town coffee shop that is roasting their own beans. There is a nice lake view from the back and the vibe inside is a lot more relaxed than you would think from the frontage road. I also recently saw people walking upstairs to sit?!? Unsure of what's up there but I'm sure it's nice. They recently expanded their roasting space on the front of the building and are doing a great job with different roasts and beans. Beans can be bought online as well from what the in-store ads were telling me. Northwoods theme and decor.”

“The owner is a really great guy. My new (used) tub was sitting outside in the winter, full of water, with the heater and circulating pump not working..and every other service company I could find was closed. His schedule was too booked to have him come take a look at my issue in time to prevent freezing, which is understandable as it's the week of Christmas, but he was nice enough to talk me through the problem I was having and gave a couple of suggestions that ultimately ended up fixing my tub and avoiding it from freezing up. The Hot Tub Dude will definitely be my go-to guy if I need repairs in the future!”

“We responded to a listing on Zillow and were referred to Elizabeth (Peck). What a great stroke of good luck! I was living in Tennessee and my partner, Caroline, was living in St. Paul, MN. I would travel to St. Paul periodically for a visit and to investigate real estate possibilities. When we found Elizabeth, she was kind, gracious, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the real estate market. We thought it might be challenging for her to work with one of us out of state so much, but she did not blink an eye. We received multiple possible listings based on criteria we had provided. I reviewed them via Zoom with Caroline and when I was visiting St. Paul, we would look at the houses together. Elizabeth always had good comments/critiques as we viewed each house, showing a wonderful understanding of our wishes AND our needs. When I was in Tennessee, Caroline and Elizabeth would view houses together and bring me along via zoom on Elizabeth's phone. Caroline tried holding the phone at first, but I grew tired of only seeing the floor when she forgot she was sharing the video with me. I felt very comfortable when we actually bought a house that I had not visited in person because the process was so smooth. When we found a house that we really liked, we asked Elizabeth what we needed to do to ensure that we would be likely to purchase it. She provided excellent advice as to how to proceed and we were able to purchase the house that had been scheduled for 66 other showings. Knowledgeable, personable and skilled: a triple threat.
