Went here to play some pickleball, only seeing what google maps had updated was 2 older looking courts. I was surprised when I arrived to see nine individual courts with Lights! The only unfortunate part is getting to each court you have to cross through a game to get to the free court, poor design in my book but love the new courts and lights to play longer!
Loved the Vietnam memorial. We have just recently saw the real wall in Washington DC. It was amazing how similar the 3/4 wall was to the actual wall. There was no information at the original wall, but this presentation had stories, memorable as well as plenty knowable volunteers.
Nice park with good trails for disabled veterans using power scooters. Beautiful scenery all around. And no homeless bums running around or camping out doing drugs like in Denver, CO.
This is about the Rahn Athletic Fields. It has a couple of decent sand volleyball courts, baseball field, shelter area with a rest room and power outlets for charging your phones or powering your speakers while having your picnic.
Beautiful trail through the woods! Great sledding hill too. The open field by the school is perfect for flying a kite.
