Hunters beware! There is a large woman who is a sabotage hunter that goes here in the AM and PM every year during deer season , wears orange shoots at inanimate objects, makes loads of noise and leaves by 7:50 am , she also beams the fields with her brights from the parking lot in the AM . Sits within 50 feet of others and talks .
Regular hunters at this land know of her . She drives a white suv and sometime a mini van , even tries to show a BS picture of her with a buck she claims she shot . Do not befriend her of fall for her nonsense, she is anti hunter.

Free parking in a small dirt lot to get to the Vermillion River landing spot. However, the trail is not maintained, so make sure to bring long pants and bug spray. It's a short walk to the river, and the landing spot is fairly small.

Cutest little park with trout stream running through it. Playground and covered picnic area. Bathrooms have no running water or paper towels or to.

Extremely easy access for a front wheel drive sedan. Parking lot spaces are ample. The river is only a stone's throw from the parking lot. The lot and park area is very well kept and maintaned. Bathrooms and picnic area are above par. Has all the ameditys of a national park. 10 out of 10 would visit again
