Choice Connections

Thank goodness for Choice Connections and Eunice Neubauer! I desperately needed to find memory care for my husband, who has severe Alzheimers. But there were so many options in the Twin Cities metro that when I tried to do a search on my own, I quickly became overwhelmed. The Neuroscience Center at Health Partners recommended Choice Connections to help me navigate the options. Eunice winnowed them down to six or seven and then helped me tour and learn about them. What with the pandemic raging, implementing virtual tours was not easy, but she got them going--and asked each place to cover issues that I hadn't thought of. Through all of this difficult and emotional situation—taking my husband from his home and placing him in an institution—Eunice gave me support and advice--advice that turned out to be very savvy. On top of all this Eunice is completely transparent about how she gets paid which, as a former consumer journalist, I really appreciate..

Eunice worked with my parents to select independent senior living and more recently helped to find the right memory care assisted living care for my father. I met Eunice and heard about Choice Connections several years before I ever had any need of her services, but was impressed by her knowledge and kind heart. When the time came to begin discussions with my parents about moving to assisted living, I knew I wanted to get in touch with her again. My mom never did get the chance to move to assisted living before she passed away, but it was a blessing for our family to have had those conversations and information from Eunice anyway because we ended up needing to move my dad to assisted living soon after my mom’s passing. My dad loves his new place and is very happy there- thanks to Eunice.

She also helped us by referring us to someone that could possibly purchase their home after my dad moved. She was always wiling to answer any questions and share her knowledge and experience! Eunice was professional and very caring in a difficult situation, always looking out for the best interests of my parents. I would recommend her service to everyone!
