City Of Mendota Heights Off-leash Dog Area

I love that I can see my dog in this park no matter where I sit but I wish they were more owners that would put down their damn phones when they come in here and pay attention and clean up after your dog

No trees but nice open space, small dog area and nice people

Meet #Mr_Motley our 1yo COVID rescue. We just returned from the Mendota Heights Dog Park where he enjoyed the open space to run, chased, and be chased. He enjoyed meeting lots of new fur-friends and friendly humans. He did seem a little annoyed with the fence that kept him and the bigger dogs from the smaller dogs. And while I tried to explain to him why, he just looked at me with further annoyance...
I enjoyed the open space as well, as it allowed me to keep an eye on Motley. This is our second dog park, last week I took him to one in Burnsville... that one was way too muddy and didn't have the run space like Mendota Heights, so this will likely be our go-to park.

A large fenced in area. Plenty of room for those dogs that love to sprint and fetch. Free. Potty bags supplied. Down sides: only one shaded area with table, no restroom for humans. A few trees for shade and to break it up a little would be nice but we loved it nonetheless.
