Big Rivers Regional Trail

Fall 2022, it was Absolutely Awesome!! Watching seven Eagles! soaring & playing in the sky. It was Wonderful, I have NEVER seen anything like it before!! (In this video Zoom in & look close for the tiny black dots.)

Haven't walked the trail, just spent time at the overlook. It's great view of the river and across to the St Paul skyline. It can be a little noisy when the planes go over but that's half the fun, watching the planes take off and land. It's a little bright right at sunset because you're facing into the sun then but as the sun goes down and the lights come up at the airport, it's fun to watch the planes land.

I rode my bike from Mendota to Harriet Island on this trail. The trail was wide and smooth. View above the confluence of the Mississippi and Minnesota River. Dripping water over rock walls. Scenic overlooks. Safe parking. Best trail in the twin cities.

A fabulous trail for biking! We started off Mendota Road and before we knew it, we were in St. Paul. Great scenery, great trail! You can also start at Harriet Island Park too.

This place has an amazing over look with wonderful views and also has benches and tables to eat at and it has small barbecues that you can use also. Would recommend coming here near sunrise or sunset its beautiful to see in person!!! Also has amazing trails to go and explore would recommend stopping by if your in the area!!!
