Sunnyside Elementary School

Great teachers and staff! Their before and after school program is wonderful. My son started 1st grade after moving here this past summer and is doing excellent!

I enjoy my children going too Sunnyside elementary school. Teachers are welcoming too parents and some teacher aids are too also. My son attended Sunnyside elementary school last year he had a few problems however they were solve quickly. However I have major concerns this year which is last year anytime my son was sick and miss a day of school I got a phone call.well this year everything is so different than last year. no calls are being place too me about my child absence at school major concern for me I have too call in every time my child is sick well if im concerned about my child or children health then im not thinking about calling a teacher and also it looks very good on the school too show concern for our children. The care and concern that the staff shows for my children makes me feel great if it's done like last year . second concern i have i want my child too be independent. However I've seen some kids get pushed shoved too the ground the kids are not taking turns in the yellow playground I've seen teacher aids trying too help other children while leaving other children unattended which some kids are not practising safety there running too the top of the hill which if a teacher aids has her back turned and your children are not practising safety they could fall and get hurt or something more bad could happen it only takes seconds for a child too be snatch and I'm not just talking about just other children the rules also apply for my children. However we know when children are at play there not remembering the rules anymore because there having so much fun with your friends my daughter has that problem really bad like going on the opposite side of the playground were no one can see her I constantly talk too her and remind her of safety rules and you know what she says too me.my friends do it. That almost stop my heart. And no I don't come too meetings because I go too school and work my self too better my life at this moment. However if I want too better my self i want the school too get on board with bettering my mined by please remembering too practise the safety rules and guide lines for our children. I'm at school more concerned about my kindergartener when I need too be focused on my school work or job work .I don't want too continue too stand at school everyday or send her too a babysitter because the grounds of the school are not feeling safe too me a concerned parent .
