We absolutely love our fountain from Scott at Tonka Bay Fountains. He created an amazing piece that we put into our backyard by our patio deck. LOVE! When we inquired about his fountains, he was very professional and quickly responded to calls and/or emails. He invited us to look at his existing fountains and offered to commission one to what we were looking for if we didn't see one that we liked. During his install he explained the care for the fountain while in use and how to winterize it here in MN. If you are looking for a fountain, I highly recommend to look at Tonka Bay Fountains. You will not be disappointed! I looked at his fountains for years at the Mpls Farmers Market and now I have one in my backyard!
Scott designs and literally carves from stone beautiful, one-of-a-kind fountains to complement individual garden environments. Scott's fountains are works of sculpture-art and no two are the same. Given his level of creativity and hard work, Scott's pricing is very reasonable for what he builds. On top of it all, Scott faithfully cleans and services his fountains, each Spring and Fall, because he feels a special relationship with each of his works and wants them to stay clean and beautiful every year.
Scott does exceptional work. We originally purchased a fountain from him that he had in stock. He gladly made some minor changes to it which made it perfect. We were so impressed with his work that we had him make a second fountain for us when we moved to our new home. It too is perfect. If you are looking to buy a stone fountain, then Tonka Bay Fountains should be your first stop. Let Scott design the ideal fountain for your landscape setting.
I met Scott at the Minneapolis Farmers Market a few years ago. His space there is beautifully displayed and I wanted something for my front yard with a calming presence. Scott came out and I described my vision. He came through perfectly. His work is creative and the service I received has been top notch. I have received many compliments and when people ask, I always tell them to plan a trip to the Farmers Market and see some of his work.
I had been looking to incorporate a fountain into the landscape for several years, but just hadn’t seen anything that met my criteria. I wanted something that blended in naturally with the gardens. I was referred to Scott by a fellow artist of an art tour in Minnetonka. I loved his creativity using stones, with a zen feel. I met him soon after, explained my vision and he created the fountain that is the centerpiece of my gardens. The fact that Scott himself installs the fountain and maintains the fountain, both spring and fall, was important to me. He takes pride in his workmanship and creations. I am very happy with the results and get several compliments. I have referred him several times, even to some landscapers who want something original.
