“I am so incredibly glad I hired Minnē Movers for my move. I called around to a handful of moving companies before choosing them, but their pricing and policy for how they charge seemed the most reasonable to me. I've moved seven times in the past fourteen years, and Minnē Movers made this the smoothest move yet--and it was BY FAR the most difficult. First, I have books, lots and lots of books (English major, what can I say?). Also, I collect records. Over 700 of them. And they weigh a ton--possibly literally. And then I had all the usual stuff--tables and couches and beds. As if the endless books and records wouldn't have been bad enough, I lived on the top floor of a duplex that sat on a hill--about 40 steps from the street up to my apartment up a flight of U-shaped stairs. And as if all of that wasn't bad enough, I'm pretty sure I moved on the first truly horribly humid day of the year. Oh--and my new place had stairs (another U-shaped staircase) going up to the second floor too (where I wanted my records AND my books). SO. MANY. STAIRS. I about died watching them maneuver a couch and dresser up the narrow staircase. From beginning to grueling end, the guys on my crew were such troopers--kind, hardworking, and tenacious. Extra guys even showed up at the end to help out. I think my move was definitely more challenging than the crew had predicted it would be, but they got the job done, they did it well, and they still managed to smile after the stairs, books, and records tried their best to break them. I'm still impressed and recommend them without reservations.”
