Choo Choo Restaurant & Bar

Nice atmosphere, train car is cool and food was decent. Staff was nice once we were there a bit. Carpet is a bit worn but overall the place was better than expected.

There's no getting around the fact that the Choo Choo bar is not fancy, some may call it a dive bar even. However we do visit several times a year because the food is great, comes out quickly and the beer is ice cold. We really like the chicken wings and the burgers are great too! It has an actual caboose in the bar. There is some non-bar seating as well.

This is a bar and restaurant in the small town of Loretto Minnesota. The Choo Choo is exactly how it sounds...they have a caboose in their bar/dining area. I would say the service is excellent and the food, while not gourmet, is a good value and tastes good. I'd rate their Choo Choo wings 5 stars. They have a full menu (apps, burgers, sandwiches, salads and entrees), and they have pull tabs. Good place for families.
