Minneapolis Northwest KOA Journey

Our family had a great time here. The playground could use some upgrades but it was nice place. The workers really care about you and the place.

Great close in camping but still has that getting away feel. Very friendly and supportive staff. Very pet friendly. Definitely will be back.

Made a quick trip to the cities & stayed at this KOA. As you can see from the pics we had snow one day & it was cold & windy the entire time & it rained! Did get to walk the grounds a couple of times though and the further back we walked we really saw the beauty of the park with its lush trees. The pool was closed as they were preparing to close up for the winter. As a matter of fact, we left on the day they closed for the 2022 season. Didn’t go in the restrooms or store but what we saw it was a relatively nice, clean park. The campsites were a little close to each other & they put us on a site right on the highway. We heard cars the entire time when the heater wasn’t running. We would have been happier if they put us further into the camp ground away from the street. We did have full hook ups which is always a plus! We’ll go back but next time we’ll go when it’s warmer.

We stayed 1 night this fall to give the kiddos a taste of camping. The playground is sturdy but a bit old. We didn't utilize any other facilities as it was cold so we stayed in the camper. I'd be worried on a full weekend that the pool would be a bit small.

The hosts are friendly and most helpful. We needed another water hose to reach the tap and they supplied one no charge. A hard working, smiling family run campground. Even offered to change spots if needed. Camper next door was parked opposite than normal so it was a little uncomfortable sitting outside. They left the next day any way. We would not hesitate to stay again next year!
