GREAT program !!!

My daughter has been benefitting from music therapy services with Toneworks for four years. I cannot begin to describe what music therapy has done not only for my daughter but for our family. When you have a child with special needs you are suddenly thrust into a world of appointments and therapy and you turn your life upside down in order to provide your child with every opportunity to do and be the absolute best that they can be. I was sitting in my car with my 3 small children when I first spoke to Lyndie on the phone. I think I actually wept at the idea the my daughter could receive services IN OUR HOME! That in and of itself would have been enough for me. But the fact that music was the only way to connect with her for such a long time made music therapy the most beneficial appointment for her! I watched her build a connection with each therapist that entered our home. I watched her be able to follow a schedule and anticipate what was coming next. She was free to be displeased or pleased with the schedule and never shamed for simply having an opinion and being who she was. I have watched her language skills grow and her ability to transition without meltdowns has improved in a way that only another Down Syndrome or Autism mom could truly appreciate. The therapists who have challenged and played with and taught my daughter are beyond skilled. They are loving, caring, talented and gifted beyond what you tend to see in the clinical setting. They go above and beyond and not only care for my daughter but they genuinely care for me as her mom, they appreciate that I have 3 other children who are often home during sessions and they even embrace our dog who has special needs of his own. This is not just a place to receive services. This is a family of therapists who meet the needs of the entire family.

Toneworks is the best in music therapy! Skilled therapists and musicians! My son looks forward to the session, a parents dream!
We continue to see progress and now our son is reading music! We highly recommend Toneworks!
