(March 1, 2020, 8:44 am)Such a cool local joint. Has an unpretentious vibe to it. So many coffee shops have a vibe of trying too hard. I would say this one is an exception. The cozy booth nooks are a cool touch.
(February 22, 2020, 2:08 pm)Great place for some great coffee! I go here relatively often as it's close to me, and the coffee and service never disappoints! I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. Just know that seating can be a little tricky at busier times of the day.
(December 6, 2019, 12:53 am)Friendly staff, great drinks, and nice booths with outlets and lights for studying. I spend a LOT of time here and have always had a great experience. I have a couple coffee shops closer to my house but I come here for the staff and studying spots. I just wish they had more food throughout the day, sometimes they sell out pretty early. I would love if they had soup and sandwiches all day...then this place would be perfect!
(May 13, 2019, 6:31 pm)Loved this coffee shop! Drip coffee and a cappuccino are my go-to, but our friends ordered the spumoni latte and I had drink-envy. Beautiful and unique shop worth stopping on your way to Minnehaha Falls.
(April 13, 2019, 6:26 pm)The barista was quite helpful and prompt. She really cares about the customer experience and took great care to ensure the coffee was just right, carefully measuring out the grounds, temp on the milk. A great latte, for sure, high recommend.

Dogwood on East Lake is my favorite coffee shop in the entire world. I have traveled all over the United States, and quite a lot through Europe; I have not found better coffee anywhere. When I visit a coffee shop I havent been to before, I hold it up against Dogwood to determine whether I like it or not.
