Great food!!! Fast friendly service. Clean. We had hot beef and Chicken Fried Steak. Perfect. Homemade potatoes!! Pick your table!!! They were neat.
We went at 9:15 for breakfast for my birthday. We were seated quickly. Party of 5 kids 2 adults. We sat in a big booth. Family atmosphere with a small town feel. Tables next us said hi to the baby and it was a fun environment. The food was perfect and they give you a lot of food. Wait staff was great they checked back for refills twice. Love that they have all the creamer, sugar, jelly, salt/pepper on the table - they aren’t skimpy on the fixings. Definitely our new favorite breakfast spot. Nothing fancy just a clean mom
And pop cafe with food cooked the way it should be. I’ll be recommending the heck out of this place!
Papa’s Cafe is a privately owned authentic diner. It felt a bit like I had time traveled when I entered. The menu includes a variety of breakfast and lunch/supper options - all very Americana. I got the Mexican Chorizo Omelette with hash browns and pumpernickel toast. It was all fresh and tasty. The omelette was fluffy. The portion was generous, without being overwhelming. The servers were professional. The space offers a bank of classic diner stools facing the kitchen as well as comfortable booths and a variety of tables. Everything is simple. Everything is clean. Free parking right outside the diner. Although I had read other reviews saying the pricing is relatively cheap, that was not my experience. My omelette and ice tea cost over $16 before the tip. It was really good - but not cheap (therefore a 4 rather than 5 star review). The venue is perfect for a meal with family and/or friends. I recommend it.
Erin was amazing! Seriously, the BEST PANCAKES we have ever had!!! It's no wonder that they are award winning. What a great local business - SUPPORT THEM!
I live just a few blocks away and this place is absolutely one of my favorites. The servers are super super nice and friendly. The prices are almost ridiculously low. The food is always great, especially the breakfast items. My favorite is the turkey club omelette. It’s like an eggs Benedict omelette, and it’s perfect!! My parents love it, too, when they visit. It looks like just another diner, but there’s something special about this one. It isn’t trying to be anything it’s not and I love that.
