“Got a room pretty quick, it was nice and clean. Only issue the bath tub design is dangerous. The edges of the bathtub are sloped and will make you slip and fall. My brother in law slipped and busted his head. I almost slipped myself but managed to catch my balance.”

“This is a lovely, homey apartment with beautiful woodwork and big flower urns out front to greet you and help you identify the property. Nestled in one of Minneapolis's great neighborhoods close to lots - most importantly for us, close to our house so that my parents and in-laws could be comfortable and be easily accessible when they came into town for a family event. “Visiting from Chicago, this gas station is down the street from the French Medow restaurant where I dined. It is very clean and the first station I've visited to have organic food choices. Other products are available but its sweet to see healthy choices too. The cashier was friendly and smiled; told me I'll like the tuna sandwich. He himself had just eaten one. I decided I would get my gas here during my stay in MNPLS. Each time I've gone, the place is busy. Tonight is just as busy and the two cashiers are friendly and with smiles. That speaks volumns to this stations customer service, the price and the products. It may be small but it's packed in greatness.”

“I just got a massage from Calvin, and he may be the best massage therapist I’ve ever been to. My job is really hard on my neck, shoulders, arms and hands. He really worked through a lot of the knots and tightness - I could feel the muscles releasing as he worked. I’m a tough case because I don’t stretch enough and tend to ignore my body when it’s yelling at me. Some other therapists tend to just do a full body massage and gloss over problem areas, but Calvin really did some serious focused detail work to actually help my body. I absolutely trust Calvin to help me work through this mess I’ve gotten my muscles into so that I can start fresh and really care for my body. Thank you, Calvin. You do excellent work.”

“I started getting my hair cut here maybe 2 years ago, and I’ve always had a great experience. I love that I can get a quality cut for $14. I used to go to a fancy salon that charged $50+ for a less precise cut. I don’t much like the neighborhood this place is in, but it’s not a big deal to pop over there to get a haircut. I highly recommend this location!”

“I lived in two buildings, first Olympus, then Dartmouth and i absolutely loved both experiences, my neighbors were friendly, the locations were great, Emily from Olympus made anything that could feel stressful so easy and positive and whenever things went wrong which were small and infrequent they made sure things were fixed quickly! Olympus bought Dartmouth less than a year before i moved in and i watched them transform the building in such a cool way, keeping with the historic style/structure just testing and and updating and adding a gorgeous patio!! The only reason i left Olympus is because i relocated to another state but if i ever move back i will be sure to call Olympus first! Highly recommend renting from them!! One more important detail, they give a five day grace period for rent and you can pay instantly via venmo!”

“Took the family and they enjoyed themselves. The hubs and the teenager walked the trail while I watched. The teenager even got on the swings. His only critique was the chains were rusty. The basketball court was full and the kids were laughing and having fun. They have vending machines but the teenager got 3 dollars taken in one so be careful. Peaceful family friendly great atmosphere near shopping and restaurants.”

“Space: Massage therapy room is in the basement of a neat herbal shop. The hallway in the basement is a bit musty but the therapy room itself has updated ventilation and doesn't smell like a basement. There is some overhead foot traffic (the shop above has hardwood floors), which I suppose some people could find distracting. The sounds were easy for me to tune out, though. Massage: If you believe in this sort of thing, Tamara is a healer. She combines technical knowledge with an intent to heal. She really listens and respects you (versus someone who nods their head and then does their thing regardless of what you've just specified). I derive the most benefit from distal work (feet/hands) with a shiatsu- or reflexology-type approach, which I described to Tamara. Tamara has told me repeatedly that she does not have formal training in shiatsu, and limited formal training in reflexology (at the time of this review), but I keep telling her that I feel way better after she's worked on my feet and hands, versus most massage therapists with 20+ years of shiatsu or reflexology experience. She's a gem.”
