My Wife and I are so impressed with teachers and how they challenge and educate our children. We open enrolled and they welcomed us with open arms.

The playground is great. We bring our 2 and 4 year old here to play on weekends. They're too young for the school yet though.

One of the best elementary schools in Minnetonka, staff is excellent and teachers are amazing. Principal is very nice and always availible to speak to and help with anything.

Starting his first day of college tomorrow, my son began his public school education at Groveland Elementary School. Looking back, I can honestly say that no decision I ever made as a parent matches the high quality decision of sending my son to Groveland Elementary School. I am often thought how wonderful the culture of Groveland was for encouraging strong self confidence, the feeling that being smart is a good thing, that exploring and wondering was the most wonderful part of becoming educated. And Groveland did this for all the children.

In its simplest form, Groveland staff at all levels was always looking out for the kids and just waiting for something wonderful to happen that they could reward, recognize and help develop in 'their' kids. I remember that even while walking down the halls between activites, many times teachers and support staff would be busy recognizing some student who did something well.

And it is that atmosphere of acceptance, encouragement and building up their students that set the tone which my child carried forward through the awkward middle school years and the challenging high school years.

Now, as he enters his first college classroom, I am completely confident that he is completely filled with confidence in his own academic possibilities and it all began with Groveland Elementary School. Much more than a building or a piece of technology or any one teacher or staff member, Groveland Elementary School is a complete environment where fantastic scholastic beginnings happen.
