Dave Kelly is the best! I picked him because of his awesome collection of videos. His office is on the other side of town from me but he was well worth the drive! My case was super complicated. Dave led me through every step of the way with professionalism, courtesy and answered every single question I had (there were lots of them!) and if he didn’t know an answer off the top of his head (which happened maybe once) he researched it thoroughly and got back to me on it quickly. He met with me at least 12 or 15 times and kept me posted immediately whenever anything, even if it was just a small thing, came up in my case or in the laws/policies affecting my case. He explained every single thing super clearly, and even patiently explained things more than once whenever I forgot something and needed him to explain it again. As a self-employed homeowner with credit card debt and also a large debt owed to an estranged relative, there were a lot of unique aspects to my case, tons of moving parts that not just any attorney could have handled well but Dave is extremely knowledgeable and he also shared lots of interesting stories about the intricacies and oddities of MN bankruptcy law and how they came about. There were a couple times when I questioned him on something but he NEVER bristled the slightest bit at this, he simply explained what he was recommending and helped me understand the reasons why his way was the best way. On the flip side, he also always listened to my input respectfully and with an open mind. He never acted even remotely judgmental. I could tell he truly cared about me and my case. Considering how complicated my case was, I believe the price he gave me was very reasonable. I would give him 100 stars if I could!
