Tequila Butcher At The Caribbean

We’ve love having the Tequila butcher managing the Caribbean Marina’s servers and bartenders. Ever since the marina’s recent new ownership and renovation, it’s become a summer destination on lake Minnetonka again. It's so ideal to sit out on the lake and take in the people, sailors, and the boats.

We’re glad to see the expanded food menu; it’s simple to drop in or order take out. However, during beautiful sunny days and over the dinner hour, its best to go early. It’s a popular place so be prepared for a wait time. However, it beautiful to walk around and stop in the little shop on the premises! You can make table reservations through Table Agent.

We’ve ordered the Shrimp Ceviche the most often; it is excellent and the accompanying chips are unusually good, too. The burgers, tacos, and grilled chicken salad are great. too. Try the Texan brisket sandwich. The drinks are exceptional – as is the atmosphere and service.

The beverages are made fresh, are garnished nicely, served nice and cold and are absolutely delicious. We recommend the handcrafted Margaritas, the Captain’s Beverage, tequila-based, options, and Coconut Piña Colada.
There is enough space between tables so that personal conversations work, it is quite serene and romantic when not crowded. It’s nice to see healthy options on the menu. It’s a perfect walk for us. Boaters love the takeout option. Parking is sufficient most of the time. I highly recommend this place!!! It’s kinda tucked away, so if you are local use your GPS and go slow through the neighborhood, please.

The staff and ownership have made each of our visits wonderful!! We love bringing guests for a great experience while watching Lake Minnetonka sunsets.

Taco Tuesday. Buy 2 get three. More than enough for our table after starters. Our puppy loved the spicy chicken. Maddie is a wonderful server but she is off to college after today. Till next summer.

Our waitress Maddie R was off the charts on it. She educated us on Tequilla and Agave. Clase Azul was the best recommendation I’ve ever had. She was right on. Hope we get her again.

Food great. Really like the Texas Twinkies and Crispy Brussels. Starters. Server Maddie is the best, friendly and helpful. Quick. It’s worth the drive by car or boat.
