This park has a really cool climbing structure for older kids, with lots of ropes, chains, and handles in interesting combinations. On the other side of the baseball fields there's a more traditional playground for younger kids. There's a ton of open space here assuming games aren't being played on the fields. Also an ice rink!
A nice large park with baseball and soccer fields, benches, and large parking lot. Rest facilities open at times. Has some shady trees near parking lot so you can eat lunch in the shade while looking out upon the fields and occasional aircraft landing or taking off from MSP.
It has a great playground for children. It also has a baseball field and a nice soccer field.
Its a good park structure they rebuilt it and now are adding a second park a little further down so we shall see
Availed of the paddleshare services - the lake is pretty decent for beginners who want to try out paddleboarding/kayaking/canoeing, as it's pretty small and calm (and the shorelines are marshy). As long as you keep at the middle of the lake, it's pretty nice to leisurely paddle around. It is right next to the highway, though, so it's not really "away from the hubbub". Plus, it's pretty close to the airport, so planes are constantly flying overhead, so docking a star for the noise. Fishing docks look nice and well kept, and there are wheelchair-accessible rolling ramps for easy transfer from wheelchair to kayak into the lake. Ball parks look great, playground looks good (it looks like it's freshly renovated). Didn't go through the walking trails, but overall it's a good park.
