Shorewood Landing

Thank you to all the leaders at Pillars of Shorewood Landing for welcoming me to the community. As a new employee, I have felt supported every step of the way. I am truly honored to care for the residents and appreciate the support of all staff as we work together to make this an environment that everyone wants to be a part of.

The Pillars of Shorewood Landing was a wonderful home for my mother for the last years of her life. The nursing assistants are lovely and caring people. The administrative staff has had excellent communication and accessibility, especially during the past year with the challenge of navigating COVID-19 restrictions. The common areas and memory care rooms are bright and cheerful and we loved the nautical theme throughout, especially given the proximity to Lake Minnetonka. As both a daughter and a retired physician, I can’t say enough positive things about the Pillars of Shorewood Landing!

My mother recently moved into the Pillars of Shorewood Landing. A few weeks ago when my brother visited my mom, he said, "Judy, this place is a home run!" Perfectly stated! And that means a lot coming from my brother - a paramedic with North Memorial Hospital for a couple of decades & currently a Fire Chief in Plymouth. He has been in and out of countless Nursing Homes & Assisted Livings in the the metro area. Feeling very blessed & grateful for my mom's new home at the Pillars!

The Pillars of Shorewood Landing has the most supportive culture I have ever worked in. The core Leadership team, our Ebenezer Management group and Oppidan ownership group are all truly invested in the success of every employee and resident. I have never been as excited on Sunday night, to come back to work, as much as I am with Shorewood Landing! Staff are incredibly competent. When we’ve been faced with challenges the attitude has been, “I’d rather be busy than not.” The Pillars of Shorewood Landing is an incredible community and wonderful place to work and live!

I began working at The Pillars of Shorewood Landing in July of 2020. It has been a wonderful opportunity. Both the team members and the residents have been so welcoming, and my position here is both rewarding and challenging. It is truly a blessing and a privilege to work with the senior population especially in such an incredible community. A great place to work, and a great place to live!
