“THE coolest thrift store! Small, local, family-owned business. Owner works hard to clean and test everything on the floor and connects with customers. Donates a portion of proceeds to animals in crisis. Unbeatable pricing on most items, everything fair! Tons of vintage and super unique items, their slogan definitely says everything, "...something for everyone!" Tons of cool/beautiful lamps. They have a whole display of snowmen up right now! Books, movies, games, music... boating and sailing decor, sea shells... some really nice dinnerware... bird display.”

There's a theater, gym, chapel, library, store, and bistro besides the restaurant. The grounds and gardens are vast with perfectly designed landscape, plus it's on the Lake! Both staff and residents here treat you like family. Downsizing was hard, but now I feel like I live in a resort.”

“A local culinary institution with great food, car shows every Thursday, and a fun drive-in atmosphere which hearkens back to classic American culture. My family has been going to the Drive In for decades. Every item on their menu is worth ordering. There is something special about their root beer, too. Eating here in the summer is a quintessential Minnesotan experience. Earlier this year, the Drive In celebrated its 60th anniversary. Generations of local teenagers have worked at the Drive In for their first jobs and families have enjoyed their food and events for decades. If you only get to visit the Drive In once, stop by on a Thursday evening when the restaurant hosts its weekly classic car show. The parking stalls are lined with beautiful cars and at the right table you can watch them rev their engines as they come and go.
