“Taking up a martial art as an adult can be a little intimidating but Master Loya made it a positive experience with his easy-going personality and passion for what he teaches. The atmosphere of the adult group classes is a very welcoming one and Master Loya manages to accommodate well for everyone even when beginners and more advanced colour belts are mixed into the same class. From my first class in the group session, I felt like part of the family and there is a wonderful sense of community at the dojang. If you're an adult looking to try out Taekwondo, I would definitely recommend trying out USWC Beaverton!”

“Our daughter, Hannah, has suffered concussion syndrome for the past few years, and recently she had a gymnastics accident that set her back physically, spiritually and emotionally. When I first reached out to Sano Wellness, I was in tears, I felt so helpless. Upon calling, I was greeted by Becky with care, compassion and a desire to help. I made an appointment at Sano and we met with Angie and Dr. Christine. After reviewing treatment options, we were excited to move forward with the care plan laid out for her, which included not only physical but mental and spiritual healing as well. Following Hannah's first appointment with with Dr. Christine, she seemed to have had a spiritual breakthrough. As we were driving home, Hannah said, "Mom my heart feels different!” I noticed that some of the heaviness was gone and she had renewed hope. We continued to go to Sano regularly for Pod/Neurofeedback sessions, along with herbal supplements. Hannah has continued to make progress to a point where she is happy, hopeful and engaged in regular activities again.
