They really get to know them on an individual basis and are empowered to teach kids in the way that works best for them. Kids are challenged when they need to be challenges and given extra support when they need extra support. The smaller mixed-grade classes allow kids to grow their confidence, become mentors, and be friends with kids in multiple grades - everyone knows everyone at Our Savior School. My kids love going to school everyday to learn not only their academics, but about how God is always with them and that they can count on Him no matter what. There is nothing more a parent could ask for and we are so blessed to have Our Savior School here for the whole family.”

“Take this review with a grain of salt for two reasons. 1. I went to Highlands over ten years ago, and 2. I only ever went to one elementary school so I can't compare it all that well to other schools. With that being said, the one thing I learned at Highlands that I still use today in college is the simple skill of raising my hand. We were drilled to raise our hands at Highlands if we knew the answer or had a question, if you didn't raise your hand 75% of the time you would get called out. In college the fact that I ask so many questions I feel keeps me more engaged and helps me remember the material better. It also influences the professor to give me a better grade as I'm so engaged.”

“Great school then, Great school Now! I love the curriculum, the campus, the parent/teacher/Student involvement. Haven't met all the teachers but I know that the ones I have are fantastic and seem to genuinely love what they do... helping our kids excel and find the greatness within. Pushing these kiddos towards independence and responsibility. Love the ethnic diversity. My kid went to west before The high school(as did I) The support was great there, IB school on the rise!!! This school may not be for everyone, and I've read the previous reviews and I'm thinking that maybe those comments were left due to 1 bad experience during a school year. My review is based on the experience of knowing the difference between Hopkins schools vs. the others... Hopkins isn't so bad(it's actually really great) "Go Royals" and thanks to all the amazing students who paved the way and all the awesome teachers and school officials who lost their minds, probably some hair and went grey trying to get you there! “My 4.5 yo attended the Golden Valley camp this summer and had a great time! It was a balanced mix of tennis instruction along with games, water play, and playground time. The coaches are great and we especially loved the director, Dan. Great energy and an obvious passion for what he does. We are looking forward to doing a few more sessions with them next summer!”

“I graduated in 2013 from Media at PCAE. I can easily say that attending the Arts High School was one of the happiest times in my life. I was able to receive an education that fit my learning learning style, and dive into art that I loved. I was allowed to explore both myself, and my voice creatively with the support of amazing, dedicated teachers. I received more support and guidance in preparation for college than any of my friends who stayed at my previous high school. I was able to jump into University with an impressive resume and skills that have served me well.
