  Al is the best, believe me!. Best service in town, top rate mechanic, very skilled and fixes just what actually NEEDS to be fixed. Very fair prices, he has been my life saver over the years and now someone I consider my friend. Totally trust him and he's a bit of a car miracle worker. I would give 6 stars, if I could.

  Al has fixed my cars at a great price with expertise over the years!!! Best mechanic I’ve ever met!!! Must use you will never go anywhere else!!!!

  My car battery was completely dead when we had that -50° weather and they were super helpful and even drove out to me to install the new battery and only charged me $30 for the service fee for coming out. When they were ringing me up, he told me he was going to look for a new battery supplier because his is getting too pricey and that they only make $5 on the batteries because he wants to help his customers. Most mechanics make like $40 off of a battery sale, so for them to take a hit like that shows they really care about their customers. If you need anything done to your car, bring it to Al's, they'll get the job done and treat you right.

  Terrific experiences with Al's Auto. I began bringing my very old car to Al in July of 2018 and he's been so helpful. He makes repairs in a timely manner and charges a fair price. When compared to other shops I've used in the metro area over the past 15 years, he's the most competitively priced. He hasn't tried to up sell me on anything. He's very skilled, too. My muffler detached at the front and he used his welding skills to reattach it - charging me for just a couple hours of labor, and it was ready the same day. In July I brought it in for an oil leak. He could have charged me $1500 for the fix (as quoted elsewhere), but first he cleaned up the oil and sealed the cover and asked me to take a couple of weeks to see if that worked first. Who does that? I will always bring my cars here. Please keep in mind that he is a one-man show - solely responsible for the diagnostic, maintenance and customer service.
