Overall thoughts: OMG THIS PARK IS BEAUTIFUL. We will be back.
SWINGS?
3 traditional, one accessible and one baby/toddler
PLAY STRUCTURE FOR BIG/LITTLE KIDS?
This is definitely made for kids 5+, lots of drop offs and climbing.
SHADE?
At 10:30am the majority of the park was shaded.
DISTANCE FROM PARKING LOT TO THE PLAYGROUND?
A little ways, probably equivalent to the length of a Target parking lot.
TABLES OR GAZEBOS?
One gazebo near the playground and lots of picnic tables around. One right by the park.
BENCHES?
Two well placed benches.
BATHROOM?
4 handicap accessible bathrooms in the gazebo by the playground.
WALKING PATH?
Lots of path to walk! Not directly around the park, but lots of of paths and one that goes around the body of water to the other playground on the other side.
OPEN AREA?
Yes! A beautiful open area for kids to run!
BUSY/LOUD STREET?
Busy, yes. Loud, not noticeable. The parking lot and open area are between the playground and the street so it's not noticeable.
ANY FUN EXTRAS?
Horseshoes! Baseball fields. An amphitheater. The parking lot was packed when we arrived but no one was even at the playground.
This is a very nice park located in Roseville Minnesota, the perfect place to take a walk, have a get together with family and friends/BBQ. and take your children to play.
They have a nice big playground area that is quite impressive! Even I wanted to get out there and play! I seen lots of turtles when walking around the lake area and all sorts of birds and ducks.
In the summer lots of activities going on, such as concerts and family movie night, 4th of July celebration etc..
Overall a great place to hangout :)
Central Park has a nice walking trail all around, picnic benches, playgrounds for kids, etc. There is also a nice area with a field, volleyball courts, and baseball field. Also Tennis courts on one side as well.
Lots of parking space and a great place to go to on a nice day!
One of the best parks in the twin cities. Excellent trails and amenities that are well maintained.
Absolutely love this huge park. Gorgeous walking paths around the lake, two awesome playgrounds - each with its own pavilion - and courts for tennis, bocce ball, and volleyball... Plus quite a few Pokestops and gyms, convenient to the playgrounds! What more can you ask for?
