“Overall thoughts: OMG THIS PARK IS BEAUTIFUL. We will be back. SWINGS? 3 traditional, one accessible and one baby/toddler PLAY STRUCTURE FOR BIG/LITTLE KIDS? This is definitely made for kids 5+, lots of drop offs and climbing. SHADE? At 10:30am the majority of the park was shaded. DISTANCE FROM PARKING LOT TO THE PLAYGROUND? A little ways, probably equivalent to the length of a Target parking lot. TABLES OR GAZEBOS? One gazebo near the playground and lots of picnic tables around. One right by the park. BENCHES? Two well placed benches. BATHROOM? 4 handicap accessible bathrooms in the gazebo by the playground. WALKING PATH? Lots of path to walk! Not directly around the park, but lots of of paths and one that goes around the body of water to the other playground on the other side. OPEN AREA? Yes! A beautiful open area for kids to run! BUSY/LOUD STREET? Busy, yes. Loud, not noticeable. The parking lot and open area are between the playground and the street so it's not noticeable. ANY FUN EXTRAS? Horseshoes! Baseball fields. An amphitheater. The parking lot was packed when we arrived but no one was even at the playground.”

“Our favorite dog park, we come here all the time. It can get very muddy if it's raining but otherwise we love this place. There's lots of dog bowls but I recommend bringing your own water for your pup. The large and small dog areas are separated, the large dog area is much larger but the small dog area is still sizeable.”

“Irving Park is a very sweet little park rich with history. The best part is it is surrounded by some of the first homes in the first neighborhood of St. Paul. It has a beautiful water feature, a darling gazebo, and you can often find people taking wedding pictures here. It's rarely crowded and so is perfect tiny escape in the city.”

“Thr park has a small / mid-size play area but still has a lot of different equipment that kids can plan on. Right next to ths park is a baseball field so often you will see different teams play there during the season. Park entrance is right by the railway tracks, then u have to drive over gravel & park on the grass area. Entrance to the park is kinda easy to miss. Overall, a quite & chilled place to take the kids.”

“This is a really beautiful park and playground. The whole playground is very clean and well-kept. The playground is adaptive for kids with differences in ability. The surface of the playground is rubberized and is accessible to wheelchairs. Even nicer is that there is a lot of flowers, plants and rocks throughout, which enhances the outdoor experience.”

“Lovely place! Great for picnic/barbeque and volleyball set up with the playground all in one area. While being able to have fun, you could still be able to keep a close eye on your kids. ;)”

“Grew up here!! This playground didn't exist. Everyone enjoyed it. I wish kids would pick up after themselves a little more in the area. Its such a beautiful spot. Hopefully it doesn't turn into the streets of BC or DT St. Paul. SMH. Keep up the good work L.C. its still a beautiful city!!”

“I truly love this Chinese Pavilion for photography and videography. We really don't have a Chinese pavilion like this anywhere else in Minnesota. So glad the Friendship Garden Society fundraise and put all their hard work into giving us a Chinese Pavilion. Its wonderful to hangout, to take pictures and most of all, to admire the work and beauty it holds. Thank you!”

“Huge size off-leash dog park, Lauderdale is the perfect place in north side for your pooch to play. The area is fenced-in with a separate area for small and shy dogs. Nice to see new setup for washrooms just neside entrance ( thanks for ATCO)”

“Another great and well cared for Roseville park! There is a top knotch 18 whole disc golf course, areas for play with your kids and pets. Open year rppound there are walking trails, wide open spaces, and well covered treed areas too. Parking can be tough during high demand times, but the local neighborhood is accustomed to the overflow. If you go, please be respectful when parking off-site, and watch out for driveways and no parking signs!”

“We come here the most frequently because it is in our neighborhood. We like to stop here on the way home or on the weekends. It's not too big or busy and it is usually clean and well maintained.”

“Nice, clean park. We had a baseball game here. The dugout was not covered or protected from the elements. I know I would like to be aware of that after we just had a 100 degree day or if it's raining or chilly. It's a enclosed fence, kinda like a batting cage. So if it's a hot day and shade is needed maybe bring a large tarp for the top or a portable canopy to for the kiddos. We were lucky or was not to bad. The park was pretty full with soccer practice and kids on playground. Porta potty bathrooms.”

“This is a city park, but it has been improved and maintained by the Neighbors of Alden Square. The gardens are lovingly cared for by the neighbors. The gazebo and the Little Free Library make it a great place to come to sit and read for a bit. We welcome dog owners who keep their pets on a leash and clean up. This is not an off-leash dog park.”

“Nice park. It's mostly for baseball, it looks like. There's a pokegym here, and I caught a Heatran in a raid. Awesome.”

“The High Bridge Park North is a cute little park at the foot of the High Bridge with a winding spiral around a stone sculpture. The atmosphere is creative and inspiring, and the large green chair within the park is fun for photos. My only critical feedback would be that there definitely needs to be a plaque or signage here! There is absolutely no information within the park on the history/meaning of the sculptures, or even the name of the park! 😂”

“It's an ice rink park with a warming house on the intersection of busy roads. There's a small unpaved parking lot, and a porta-potty. There are no other amenities. This is not a park for summer play. In Circle Pines, there's an ice rink which contains basketball hoops and tennis courts so that it can be used all year round, and seems to be a much more efficient use of space.”

“It is a lovely park a great place for little children that scavenger hunt hidden around the park are pictures of animals Birds raccoons dogs and they can point those out rabbits it's really interactive play for children. The only downside is bathroom access there was a porta potty up at the park up until this week which was my granddaughter's birthday which we had at Boyd's Park. People had to leave and use the restroom at the speedway on Grand which was very inconvenient other than that I highly recommend this park for children ages three or two to eight years of age.”
