“Our favorite dog park, we come here all the time. It can get very muddy if it's raining but otherwise we love this place. There's lots of dog bowls but I recommend bringing your own water for your pup. The large and small dog areas are separated, the large dog area is much larger but the small dog area is still sizeable.”

“Irving Park is a very sweet little park rich with history. The best part is it is surrounded by some of the first homes in the first neighborhood of St. Paul. It has a beautiful water feature, a darling gazebo, and you can often find people taking wedding pictures here. It's rarely crowded and so is perfect tiny escape in the city.”

“This is a city park, but it has been improved and maintained by the Neighbors of Alden Square. The gardens are lovingly cared for by the neighbors. The gazebo and the Little Free Library make it a great place to come to sit and read for a bit. We welcome dog owners who keep their pets on a leash and clean up. This is not an off-leash dog park.”

“The High Bridge Park North is a cute little park at the foot of the High Bridge with a winding spiral around a stone sculpture. The atmosphere is creative and inspiring, and the large green chair within the park is fun for photos. My only critical feedback would be that there definitely needs to be a plaque or signage here! There is absolutely no information within the park on the history/meaning of the sculptures, or even the name of the park! 😂”

“It's an ice rink park with a warming house on the intersection of busy roads. There's a small unpaved parking lot, and a porta-potty. There are no other amenities. This is not a park for summer play. In Circle Pines, there's an ice rink which contains basketball hoops and tennis courts so that it can be used all year round, and seems to be a much more efficient use of space.”

“It is a lovely park a great place for little children that scavenger hunt hidden around the park are pictures of animals Birds raccoons dogs and they can point those out rabbits it's really interactive play for children. The only downside is bathroom access there was a porta potty up at the park up until this week which was my granddaughter's birthday which we had at Boyd's Park. People had to leave and use the restroom at the speedway on Grand which was very inconvenient other than that I highly recommend this park for children ages three or two to eight years of age.”

“This park is known to my kids as the "truck park," because there are a lot of old toys that have been "donated" for general use. (Keep careful track of any toys you bring if you don't want them to join the collection.) The main playground has sand; the smaller one is padded and showing its age. Lots of shade from all the trees.”

“Seriously a beautiful place, especially at sunset. You can get amazing views of Saint Paul while the sun is setting. A must go to if you’re in Saint Paul or not. Because the views are that good. You can also see the actual Indian burial mounds which are also very neat to see. Highly recommend. This is definitely what makes the east side what it is. A true gem of the east side.”

“Nice little green space with a few trees. There's no playground equipment nor trails. There's no amenities of any kind. There's not even a sign labeling the park.a road runs completely around the park, so it's not an ideal place for children to play without running into the road.”

“Our soccer team played a match here. The field is turf. It was raining and the field drained well. My biggest concern is the proximity of the busy street to the field. I was hard to hear anything other than traffic at times. There is a play ground.”

“Now that the City has cut back some of the scrub trees, you can see downtown again! Watch out for dog poo, as not everyone cleans up after their canine. Seems to be worst since the City removed the trash cans. Not sure why.”
