Jerry, the chef did an incredible job at preparing our favorites. We had so many people comments on how good the walleye was! I did have a few bones in My filet but no one else seemed to have any so maybe I just got the one :) other than that it was great! The cost was very affordable. They were efficient with timing of salads, meals, and plating the cake! Josie was even there to personally place Scott and I’s meals and officially wish us a congratulations. Thank you Kanes!”

I ordered the ultimate pizza again giving the new order a chance to see if there was any difference. I was pleasantly surprised. This time around it was much better. “Overall the food was tasty and reasonably priced. We were there on a Sunday afternoon arriving just before 1. First thing to note, the restaurant is not handicap accessible. There is a step to get in and out and a just a manual door. We managed to get my grandma in and out, but it was a struggle. We were given a friendly greeting, and as we'd had a reservation were seated quickly, though the reservation hardly seemed necessary as there were only two or three other tables that were occupied. Drinks and appetizers were ordered quickly and came to the table fairly quickly as well. I highly recommend the sirloin tips and the onion rings. It took a fair bit if time for the server to come back for our entree orders and even longer for the entrees to be served. Granted, we were a party of six, so one expects a bit of a delay. But this seemed longer than I would expect. Everyone in the party was happy with their entreés though mine the "Little Charlie's" sandwiches (two slider sized beef sandwiches) were tasty, but I requested med. rare and one arrived med well, the other rare. The friendly atmosphere and tasty food made up for the couple issues I mentioned. I would definitely go back, but I wouldn't take grandma or anyone else with mobility issues and I would be prepared to wait, and to send my meat back if not cooked to the requested temp.”

“I'm in the area for work all the way from Baltimore and my hotel concierge person suggested this is the best pizza place in town. As an East Coast guy who's very fond of pizza, i got to say this reminds me of home. This is the first time I visited Minnesota and I'm happy to report I had a great meal right off the bat.
