Dr Weitz came out at the end of a long day, arriving just before 5pm to euthanize our 40+ year old pony. Dr Weitz and his assistant made a difficult decision as painless as possible. Very professional, understanding, and sympathetic.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Paul! My mare and I are fairly new to the area and she happened to receive a bad kick to her scapula that turned into an abscess. The first vet I had on the case diagnosed it as a bone bruise, and despite her being in intense pain for several days, didn't show much concern in coming out to look at it. Upon calling for a second opinion, Dr. Paul fit me into his schedule immediately, covered all the bases in treating the injury, and continued to come out for several days to ensure she was healing properly. I am beyond thankful with how patient and kind he was with my mare, and even more happy with how quickly she is now healing thanks to his expertise. I will definitely be using Weitz Equine for her regular veterinary care moving forward! Highly recommend!

Paul, Mary, and others at Weitz did an excellent job of helping our horse 'Red' through a tough to figure out infection. Good communication, diagnosis, and treatment. They don't just throw a bunch of tests & procedures at the problem. They explain what they're doing and ur options all the way. They truly care for the animal.
