“The guys at this car repair shop are genuinely there to help folks out. They put in extra hours to help my folks out as their brakes gave out while they were driving through Northfield to visit us. Their prices were fair and their work was solid, even when they had captive clients with my folks. This seems consistent with the other reviews I'm seeing here. I'd recommend them to anyone in the Northfield area as the ones to go to first for vehicle repairs.”

“I'm drawn here because their baked items are made fresh each day and - handcrafted breads and pastries without preservatives. That’s remarkable in today’s world. You can pick up day-old baked items at reduced prices; but I prefer to go early and buy what’s fresh out of the oven. Nothing tastes as good as that. It’s nice for lunches, too. The Café Selection, especially sandwiches, use the bread they make and fill them with tasty combinations. It’s an ideal spot to take your children, catch up with friends, or as I do, host a business coffee, and/or often get something to go. Check out the community table – it really shows great support and loyalty to local residents. The pastry section, since I am such a scone connoisseur, is my favorite. There is no missing the “just-baked” flavor that makes them worth the calories. Every time I’m there I see people buying their caramel nut rolls – only my mom’s recipe beats them 😊. There are made with lots of butter and are chucked full of caramel. While you can purchase them with & without nuts, we prefer the nut version. It’s also very nice that these and many other items re for sale and in both mini and large sizes. The staff are vey friendly, this is something that I find is more common in small towns. I enjoy the chat about menu options, how the food is made, the baking schedule, and why they are so proud of their coffee. Check out this video where I’m filming, and the bakers are so pleasant and waving so friendly. It's a easy to go place for people with wheelchairs. You can enter in the back parking lot and not have to deal with any stair steps or ramp.”

“To all the chiropractic newbies: I cannot recommend Pete enough. I was a skeptic being in my 50s and having never been to a chiropractor before. I did not know what to expect and I simply was terrified. Pete took his time with me to explain everything. And I do mean “everything”. Including what to look for if he didn’t work out for me. But he DID work for me and I will definitely be going for another adjustment. He is NOT at all pushy and so personable. The Cave's a place where people come to chill, relax, listen to music, make music, and eat popcorn. I've never been in a place quite like it before, but I enjoyed every minute of it.”

“My elderly mother stayed at the Family Residence for two years starting shortly after it opened in 2019. It was a godsend. The family had spent months touring other memory care facilities in the area but found them to be wanting. When we chanced on the Family Residence our prayer were answered. It was like a cozy home with residents putting together puzzles in the sun-room or talking in the large living room or snacking in the “country kitchen” area. The loving staff showered her with attention every day. There were visiting therapy dogs; small school groups bearing gifts; classes on travel and culture... They let my mother bring her piano which they put in a common room. Before moving there, my mother was anxious all the time. After a few weeks at Family Residence her anxieties faded away. Her final years turned out to be some of her best. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.”
