my favorite apple orchard, probably out of tradition but also the no frills pick your own aspect. cute little store has lots of great stuff and offers samples, the owners are very welcoming and offer advice on which apples you want. small operation but it’s never too busy like some places. will keep coming here every year!
Busy place! Stopped for Honey 🍯. They had Comb, Liquid, and Creamed. Great selection of Pecan Turtles. Apples galore! Pick Your Own and Pre-picked.
Many varieties. Nice Gift Shop inside.
Very nice orchard. Quieter than others closer to the cities, which is nice. Several fields to choose from with a large variety of apples. Few activities to do, but not like other very busy places.
I will never go anywhere else! This is the best apple farm I have ever been to, and my family has tried quite a few in the south metro. Do not be lead astray by the negative reviews. This farm is owned by a veteran and his family. They are all so nice and are a joy to be around. They truly care about their customers. We have gone to this orchard the last 5 years and have no plans of switching and no complaints.
There is a homey feel to the store that reminds you of grandma's house and the farm itself has some great scenery. You can purchase pre-bagged apples, candy( mainly caramel and chocolate), syrup, honey, cheese, pies, trinkets, and more. They offer a tractor pulled wagon ride, animal feeding and petting, yard games, corn maze, and pick your own apples and pumpkins. There is a fee if you are planning on doing other activities beside apple picking. It is called the "all activity pass." It costs $6 per adult and $4 per child from ages 2 to 12.
If you choose to pick your own apples you pay $2 per pound per apples, unless they are honeycrisp then you pay $2.50 per pound. The supply of apples is HUGE! What is up front is only the beginning as they also have a large amount of apple acreage away from the main road you can ride the wagon to. There are very clean porta-potties on site as well.
I can't say enough about this place and this family. So many great memories here in a short time. We will be back next year... and every other year after that.
UPDATE!!! - We were back this year... Still love it! Going back next year too! Decided I would post some pics.
A bit farther out from the cities. We went as they were hosting a dog day. A day wristband for $5 includes apple picking, wagon ride, corn maze and seeing small farm animals. Apples are per lbs and include honey crisp, McIntosh, sweet 16, honey golden. There's pumpkin patch as well.
The main orchard is a bit farther out than the main entrance so it's better to take the wagon ride.
A small store that has pre picked apples, pies, honey and jams. People were nice. Not a bad place to spend a day with the family esp if you hace little kids.
