Norske Electric

Late yesterday evening I requested a quote from 3 electricians on Angi’s to repair my fluorescent light fixture, preferably to bypass the failed ballast and allow me to use a new LED tube. Brevik at Norske Electric replied in less than two hours — just before midnight. His first available opening wasn’t until January, but since my problem was pretty simple, he offered to provide me some guidance by phone/photo if I was able to DIY. We exchanged a couple of texts and we talked by phone for about 5 minutes. Because of his expert help, I was easily able to make the repair myself. Brevik went way “above and beyond” to help me solve my problem without any charge. I would certainly trust Brevik and Norske Electric to handle all of my electric repair needs in the future.

We recently used Norske Electric to install a bathroom fan and 3 chandeliers in our 1947 Minneapolis home. Brevik was extremely responsive when I requested a quote. Although the appointment needed to be booked a month out (all professions/tradespeople are very busy right now), I am glad that we used Norske Electric. I called multiple electricians to do work at my house, and Norske was the only one professional enough to return the call. Though their schedule was full, Brevik worked me in very quickly. The work was completed in a lot less time than anticipated, done right, and cost me less than what I had budgeted. Tyler and Tim were very courteous, and it was obvious they are experts. I just stayed out of the way and let them do their thing. I now have a "go to" electrician which I fully endorse!

We called Norske Electric for service after replacing a switch and the light still didn’t work. They were prompt and very thorough, eventually finding that the new switch was faulty. So when our outdoor outlet didn’t work and a replacement outlet didn’t work, we left a message to schedule service. Our call was returned promptly and he advised us to check all the GFI’s in the house first, to save us a service call. Sure enough, the one in the upstairs guest bath had been tripped. There was no GFI on the outdoor outlet, and we were unaware one was tied to it from upstairs!
