“I was referred to EffectUs for our 13-year old to help gain strength after a spinal fracture. Jackie was suggested to us and she really has been the perfect balance of push, positivity, and perspective for our daughter. While there, being able to sit upstairs and stay out of the way to give our daughter her privacy and individuality while training, we are able to listen to what else is going on. The "vibe" of the facility is commitment. Everyone shows up to do better than they did the day before and just hustle. It's an awesome feeling in that AMAZING facility that they have. I would recommend (by viewing) their classes....the instructors are committed and focused. You can tell from the moment the timer goes off, and the equipment offered gives them the ability to properly train, whatever level they may be at. You see new, veteran, old and young in that building. Regardless of where you are, you are sure to find your place quickly and effortlessly. I would definitely recommend EffectUs for Personal training based on personal experience. Our daughter is excited to go two days a week to sweat it out with Jackie (an owner and trainer)....and that speaks volumes, as she trains every other day of the week in the gymnastics gym. 🙂 She tracks her reps, weight, progress, and has a detailed plan of how to get our kid to where she wants to, and needs to go. “Our fence is 15-years old and we had a hard time finding someone to do some maintenance and adjustments to it from the land settling and the posts rising over the years. No one wanted to help because our project too small to bother with. It might be small deal for them, but it was important for us since our miniature dachshunds could slide under the fencing. By shear luck, our neighbors behind us hired Bocephus to put in their fence. I asked them if I could speak with the company owner and we were then introduced to Mike that same week. Plain and simple he and his people took care of us. They came over and did an exceptional job making the appropriate adjustments. They were polite, professional and gave me some advice on the fence itself. As I look across my back yard, I can see how well they did in constructing my neighbor's fence. Straight lines and even height throughout. I'll admit that I now harbor a bit of "neighborly envy" over their new fence. These guys are impressive. They're professional and worked even the small job. I like these guys because they made me feel like I mattered.”

“Great school. Good memories... Very little to no bullying or crime issues (although there have been some incidents of drugs being sold on campus, I never came across it though). Unfortunately, there have been a few teen suicides and attempted suicides. No school shooting incidents (thank god), knock on wood. Great classes too. What's odd is that 16 hours of doing volunteer work in the community or otherwise is required to graduate. And also, Geometry isn't required for you to graduate as well, since in this school district geometry is an advanced class in 8th grade (which is stupid because the ACTs have quite a few geometry questions that require the knowledge learned in at least a 1-2 trimester geometry class) And yes, the school district operates on trimesters instead of semesters. Otherwise, great school. I hope it continues to be a source of pride for STMA.”
