I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza and it was almost exactly like how I know pizza to be. It's been a struggle to find a good place anywhere in Minnesota that actually makes pizza that doesn't taste like cardboard. They must've gotten a lift or a new chef recently. The only complaint I had was the crust was too fluffy. Otherwise, everything was perfect. The bread as well was still warm and crunchy.”

Nestled in the middle of a Burnsville strip mall just off County Road 42, the unpretentious eatery promises friendly service and taste-bud exciting flavors at fair prices. (I confess, I've visited just for the egg rolls, they're that good. We didn't get a picture of them because they were being gobbled up.) They're fried to perfection, bursting with flavor, stuffed full of pork and vegetables, augmented with fish sauce for dipping. My personal favorite dish is the "Hot & Spicy Chicken". Don't be scared off by the name -- it's neither hot nor spicy. It is, however, a symphony of flavor with a sauce that is unique -- it's like a cross between eel and thai peanut sauces. My son devoured his orange chicken and my wife loved the subtlety of her beef and noodle dish. The menu is extensive, covering many Asian cuisines. You're sure to find something you like.”

“I was drawn into the Cardinal because of feel that surrounded the outside of it. A hub of activity with public transportation dropping all sorts of human conditions off from busses and trains but also bicycles, cars and bushes too! A bit dark and dingy inside. More restaurant than bar and only beer for alcohol I had forgotten that these places were still around. A couple of domestic pints rang in at $8.50. It wasn’t crowded but their set really only has 6 or 7 seats at the bar and flows right into restaurant seating with chi a bit off to me. Service was fine with that little bit rough around the edges charm coming raising others kids for most of life. I’ll swing in another time. Maybe take the train and check out their food as they’ve been around awhile so something’s been done right.”

Cornbread fritters had sweet crunchy outers and warm savory inners. Beans were the right kind, heavy on variety. PB&J brisket was fun and filling. “We arrived at 4pm when kitchen opened on Thurs. Had a great waitress who took our drink order. She talked about the menu and we all ordered broasted chicken but I added ribs to mine. Only one bar drink and it was well made. It took a little bit to do chicken, made fresh. It came with cranberry bread wrapped. A side and Cole slaw. We had the nachos which were really good. Normally only the top nachos are covered in the toppings but not these nachos. Toppings were on every one! The burgers are huge and tasty. The club sandwich was good and the bread was perfectly toasted. Seasoned sour cream could use a touch more seasoning. Regular and waffle fries were good. The pancakes are delicious! They have bingo twice a week and meat raffles. They also have a different special for every day of the week. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend going here.”

Yes, this establishment could always use a good paint job and new flooring and one of the bathrooms always seems to be unavailable and everything just seems to be a little on the unsanitary side, However I gave it a chance. And the food has always been phenomenal, and I have never been sick, and they've always been clean! Up until recently I had always gone with the beef Pho, And usually only ate here for lunch in the winter, but the owner made a few recommendations And earlier this year I started trying the Everest Vermicelli Noodle Special and have been getting that ever since! I stopped by today 6/13/2023 and was a little concerned when I found out that It was under new ownership.... But the food is just the same, and I am looking forward in July to the new menu they are going to be rolling out and giving the entire restaurant a much needed face lift! Let's see what they can do, and I am looking forward to it!,”

I had the chili cheese. The other time I had the Sicilian. Both enough for 2 people for sure. I couldn't even finish the chili cheese one it was so big. Chocolate chip pancakes get me every time.
