“Five stars for the selection, vibe, and helpful staff. My favorite spot in the area. It's hit and miss whether you pay more or less for an item here, but the shooters are definitely a bit marked up. Cheapest shooters are at Waveland Discount. Even so, this place isn't too far off and has the best shooter selection by far (I'm still learning liquors so that's what I buy mostly). Friendly, helpful, communicative staff, it just feels like going over to a buddy's house and hanging out in his otherworldly man cave. Great spot, I'll keep going here.”

He was polite, friendly, to the point, and made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. He even let my 3 year old ask questions and watch what he was doing. “Lovely little hidden gem in small-town USA! Old fashioned soda shop with a pharmacy, serving lots of blue bell ice cream choices by the scoop or get a banana split made fresh right when you order. Very helpful and friendly staff at pharmacy. Only negative thing I will say is about the very old dog they let roam around the store, barking loudly at nothing. Not a dog that should greet customers. But I liked this place too much not to give 5 stars.”

“Kai was my angel. My car was totalled and I wanted something up to date so I spotted this beauty and inquired about it. I did all my paperwork online. My bank was playing with sending my money to me but they allowed me to hold the car because I REALLY wanted it and I think they wanted me to get it. Kai personally came and picked me up in Long Beach on his day off!!! I'm in tears typing this because he didn't have to do that for me. My experience was fast, painless and I really felt like part of a family. A special THANK YOU to KAI and thank you to the sales mangers as well. “This is by far the cleanest and neatest Goodwill I have been to: both in Mississippi and out of MS. The cashiers up front was wonderful and such a pleasure to meet and chat with. They greeted me and told me about the purple tags half off sale happening for the week. Upon entering the store you are greeted with awesome decor across three tables setup to pick from. My wife had a blast looking through the autumn theme clothing and accessories that were on display near the register area and picked out a belt and sweater. The Waveland store is so organized and clean and I was able to find all the categories we were interested in shopping. I came to look for hardware and electronics and my wife came for clothing. We were both really satisfied with the items we found for purchase even though the electronics area was kinda low on product. I did manage to find some items in other areas that were just a steal of a price. Katherine was my cashier and Mike stepped over to help get hangers off our clothes and to get them out of the way. They were both really kind and had great attitudes. Katherine asked if I was a loyalty member and I told her no as I had no idea that Goodwill had such a thing. She asked if I wanted to sign up which I did with just my phone number and the process was quick and easy! She explained how the points work and as a frequent shopper of The Picayune store with occasionally stopping at Diamondhead and Waveland because of traveling for work, I’m sure I’ll be getting my $5 off coupons pretty quick now! I asked to speak with a manager to give compliments to and Jesse came up. I told him everything that is in my review here. He thanked me for the positive feedback and told me he was new to the position up front and that he’s been working really hard to make sure that the product his customers want is out for sale and that the store feels very welcoming. I think that makes a huge difference as I feel like this is a brand new store from the last time I visited a few months ago. We chatted for a little bit while my wife still looked around as the clothing aisles are much larger than other stores we frequent. Jesse recommended us to check out a few areas in the store before leaving, like the ocean and beach display shelf in which we found a couple cool decorative pieces and a jar full of shells. The display cases around the registers were packed with all kinds of goodies to look at while my items were being rung up. Overall I think Waveland is now my #1 and I’ll go a little out of the way to stop by to see Jesse, Katherine and Mike again. Jesse told me to come back and shop Monday to find some pretty awesome deals for dollar Monday. Thank you for a great shopping experience today. I will be back to see all the exciting new goods that will be out the next time. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I absolutely would. I am attaching photos of some of our favorite areas we shopped from today.”

“This is by far one of the best bakery/lunch places I have ever found. The burgers here are like nothing I have ever had and so delicious and really really giant! These burgers are a must try because honestly I have had many burgers in my life and these are by far one of the best! The cupcakes are the icing on the top with many varieties and so gourmet, really big with all homemade icing and cake! We tried a few of them and to be honest there wasn’t a bad one! Darin and Renee who own and operate this establishment were super kind and helpful. You can tell these guys take pride in what they do! I highly suggest this place to anyone and will for sure be back again very soon!!!”

“Great folks! Bought a Lamar dump from them. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. It’s a real family business. Kids running around or doing homework. If you need repairs this is the place. They used to build trailers from scratch and have a good shop in the back so I’m confident they know how to fix them if you have any warranty issues vs a high school kid that doesn’t know how to weld.”
