We needed a few extra minutes to enjoy the pizza, and they graciously allowed us to stay, reassuring that they would stay as long as we needed. The whole party of over 30 people ranted and raved about how great the pizza was. They took our order in advance and were prompt about getting them out for us. “I saw one of your fire trucks parked in the fire lane at Walmart. There was no emergency. Why park in the fire lane at Walmart away from the station? If there is an emergency at another location then your team members would have to walk through Walmart, walk on the pavement to the truck location and then drive to the emergency. That could DELAY the response time to an actual emergency. The emergency might be located on the opposite side of the fire station. That would be even more of a delay. You might also need all hands on deck and there could be multiple emergencies.”
