Their reputation is impeccable I have known them many years and can find no fault in any of them. Their love for God shows in their care for others. They hold the word of God and service to God in the highest place.. they are non-judgmental and kind to everyone. They work hard and are bi- vocational so they understand the working people. None of them are afraid to get their hands dirty and they will never ask you to do anything they won't do first themselves, how refreshing. The congregation is made up of all different kinds of people none of them perfect but all of them kind and loving. The church's name is heart and soul Church. The pastor brought up this verse today. Jesus was asked, what is the most important commandment? His answer, was to love God with all your heart& soul , your mind and your strength. And the second commandment is like the first, to love your neighbor as yourself. I think this church embodies that very thing.”

“Pastor John yesterday visited the hospice situation here in my living room. While the ill patient slept I had a candid and in-depth conversation with the Pastor about my personal social and theological concerns. He left many cogent and useful thoughts here upon which I have been meditating ever since. The Linden Church should consider itself fortunate to have such a keen psychologist at its helm. He is obviously at peace with himself and his God ---- hence, he is sincere and honestly discusses his insights and experiences. Should you need spiritual guidance or the attention of a fundamentally good man, don't overlook this oasis of kindness along CA-26. Perhaps God works in mysterious ways; but one thing is sure: the Heart is alive and well at the FBC in Linden. [Such is my opinion. I do not profess any religious loyalties.] ”

“I attended worship service for the first time this morning. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and welcomed. I was introduced to several members and invited to sit with them during the service. The members Janice, Barbara, and Betty were kind, knowledgeable, , and encoraging. The service was well run. Reverend Winters presented a relevant & scripture focused sermon without embellishments. The children participated in the presentation of the message. The service was memorable, biblically focused, and succinct. After the service I was invited to speak briefly with Reverend Winters and welcomed back for next week's service. I was also invited to partake in the lunch of chili/soup being held onsite. Worship service started at 10:30 am and ended promptly at 11:35 am.”
