She actually listened to what our concerns were and made sure the floor nurses knew to give special instructions for her care as well. Danielle was also on top of it upon arrival she came in to do her part and my mom needs the warm blankets. “My journey with this group began in late 2015. I was confined to a wheelchair, super morbidly obese, all joints of my hips & knees shot. 3 prior surgeons refused to work on me due to size. Thankfully, Dr. David Paul gave me the opportunity to regain my mobility, my ambulation, and frankly, my life back. My hips were done in 2016, my knees in 2018 & 2019, respectively. With each surgery, I gained mobility, thus letting me incorporate physical activity to support my changes in fueling my body. With each surgery, recovery was quicker and less painful than the previous. I now walk daily, work out at the gym 6 days a week, hike, shop independently, go up and down steps all day long! I have now graduated to “2 year checkups,” and while it will be strange not having these 3/6 month checkups, none of this would have been possible without the brilliance and compassion of an extremely skilled surgeon like Dr. David Paul, and the most caring and professional staff of this Orthopedic Group.
