“I read a bunch of negative reviews and wonder how come I've never had a single bad experience there - neither on the phone nor in person. I think it's important to realize that the folks that answer the phone aren't clinically trained - they're hired to take notes, set up appointments etc. Compassion is a two-way street. I'm of the opinion that there's never really a reason to be unprofessional - and so far in my life that has proven out true. That said - the wait on-hold is sometimes a bit long, but that's no different than any other place, really. These are trying times. Lots of people suffering. Keep that in mind.”

“This is a REAL GYM. You either know what I mean by that or you don't. If you are looking for a place where you can put on your gymshark attire and take cute instagram photos three times a week, then maybe you should look for an LA Fitness, Anytime Fitness, or any other big franchise fake gym. For those who know that the only thing that actually matters in a weight room is pure intensity and effort, then look no further. This is where you go if you are training for results. This is for those who seek improvement in their mind, aesthetics, and strength. From the exterior it is a drab rectangular block of concrete off the side of a busy road. The windows are tinted so the people passing by don't crash from staring at all the bicep veins and striated chests. The entrance has majestic framed photos of professional bodybuilders behind the desk, the walls are blood red with underground graffiti for art, the air smells of sweat and rusted iron, and the only thing you hear other than the music over the speakers is metal clanging from another gym-goer seeking similar results as you are. I was skeptical at first with the few amounts of powerlifting equipment, but when I saw the Cybex Pullover machine I had to take a quick trip to the restroom so no one saw me wiping away my bro tears. The fact that the owner of this gym even knows what this unicorn of a gym machine is, is enough evidence that this is a real gym with staff that care truly care about it. I've been to a ridiculous amount of gyms and the only time I've seen this piece of equipment is in Dorian Yates's "Blood and Guts". The Shadow was notorious for his thick and juicy lats and he religiously used this machine when training. I can't stress enough how freaking awesome it is that they have it. On top of the great setting that cultivates the savage mentality of someone willing to do whatever it takes to be great, the staff have to be some of the nicest people ever. I only got to experience this gym once as I was driving through Kansas City, MO on a road trip. I arrived in KC at around 5:30 pm on a Saturday and called them in a leap of faith. Heather from Flex Fitness took my number, found someone who was a member to let me in after staff hours had been closed, and texted me every step of the way just to let some stranger (me) from the other side of the country train in their gym. I didn't get to meet them, but if they're reading this, thank you! In summary, this is a REAL GYM. If you still don't know what that means, look it up or go get a membership at Planet Fitness. Five stars for Flex Fitness. TLDR: It's a real gym. Really good equipment for bodybuilding. Cool grungey setting. Very helpful and friendly staff. 5 stars.”

“Doctor Eisenach is one of the most caring doctors I have ever encountered. I lost my most favorite gastroenterologist to a move. Then I found another one I liked. Then he moved. Then I just happened to randomly be made an appointment with Dr. Eisenach for larynx spasms. He is very humble and unassuming and doesn't rush you out the door. He treats you like a human being, not a number. I sure am glad I found him.”

“I was referred to Dr Brenda Smith about 6 years ago by a friend of mine. She has been one of my Doctors ever since. What I found, was care that my traditional male gynecologists were not giving. It is very helpful and assuring to have a woman doctor who is sensitive to my concerns, and thoroughly answers my questions. She provides a complete assessment of my nutritional, hormonal, emotional, and physical well being. Her recommendations for me have all proven to be leading me down the right path for my health. “My journey with this group began in late 2015. I was confined to a wheelchair, super morbidly obese, all joints of my hips & knees shot. 3 prior surgeons refused to work on me due to size. Thankfully, Dr. David Paul gave me the opportunity to regain my mobility, my ambulation, and frankly, my life back. My hips were done in 2016, my knees in 2018 & 2019, respectively. With each surgery, I gained mobility, thus letting me incorporate physical activity to support my changes in fueling my body. With each surgery, recovery was quicker and less painful than the previous. I now walk daily, work out at the gym 6 days a week, hike, shop independently, go up and down steps all day long!
