“Just picked up my fur babies (Chester & Antonio) from a kennel boarding of 8 Days. They were well cared for and were happy to see me. Dr. Peterson is a great hometown vet who really cares about her fur children. They are open on Saturday for just an hour so you can pick up or drop off for kenneling. Dr Peterson was right there behind the desk ready to help us with our cats. Price was very reasonable and care was outstanding.”

“There are not enough good things I can say about Long Vet. First and foremost they are affordable and don’t charge you an arm and a leg for treatment. They take amazing care of your pets and have amazing bedside manner. I had a very sick dog and they worked tirelessly to find out what was wrong with her, they loved and cared for her like she was their own. Sadly my dog had to be put down but they said their goodbyes (because some had spent a decent amount of time with her) and allowed us to lay her to rest outside in the sun where she was comfortable. They also have amazing emergency service and ADOPTION services! We love them so much for saving the beautiful dog we adopted from them. Again I could go on all day about how much I love them! They are amazing!!!! I attached a picture of our pretty girl! She gets so excited to go in and see everyone to this day! (They’re grooming is amazing as well ????)”

“Dr. Tom Del Pico is very knowledgeable and seems very experienced. I've had nothing but excellent vet care from him the past 4+years when we adopted our dog from Megan's Paws and Claws animal shelter. Our dog had ear issues and we took her to one place which gave us drops. It didn't seem to get better. When it flared up worse we took her to Dr. Del Pico, our first visit there. She actually had an impacted ear and infection down in it. The drops never would have cleared the impaction. After a short procedure she was like a brand new dog!! We've been going ever since. Quality vet care. Today she's home from a surgical procedure. She's doing well. I would recommend Smithville Animal Hospital to anybody.”

“I took my two dogs to the clinic. Both were very excited to be there and full of energy. The staff did an awesome job trying to help me manage the dogs. They were sweet and understanding. I think my favorite part was regarding some of their practices that help the animals. Both my dogs needed shots and did great. I think that's because the staff is very good at distracting the dogs so they dont realize what's going on. I would definitely recommend.”

“This place is beyond amazing. We had to take our puppy there in the middle of the night due to him having symptoms of parvo. They tested him and he sadly tested positive. They assured us what our options were, and unfortunately the only option was to put him down. They were so kind and caring with us and him. From the receptionist to the vet herself. About a week later we received a card in the mail, and it was offering condolences and everybody in the office had signed it, and had even used his name as well. They are so compassionate that I would recommend them to anybody who believes they may need help with their animal. Thank you guys for being so kind!”
