Was able to stall me til EMS could arrive when I was frustrated with dispatch, I was going to transport our child on my own to the hospital after a seizure since I had some major issues getting dispatch to send EMS. Luckily, these guys got the page that the call was occuring and headed to scene anyway where they could get me to wait for EMS to arrive for a safer transport.”

“This isn’t a typical review: I moved out to des peres about two years ago and didn’t know my way around at the time. I went the wrong way on Manchester with a dead phone at night. (Around midnight) I was having a full blown panic attack, it was dark, I was obviously crying, and couldn’t find a place to turn around since I had a line of cars behind me making me panic even more. I finally found somewhere to pull into and it just so happened to be this fire station. A few people came outside and were very nice to me about my situation. They let me come inside to call my parents to let them know I got lost and ended up 45 minutes away from our new home. While my phone charged they distracted me from my anxiety by showing me around and making me feel comfortable. The crew that night was very helpful and I’m thankful for them. This shows that they’re not only firemen, they’re very caring individuals. If y’all see this just know what you did for me means more than you know and I think about y’all every time I have to think about which way I’m headed on Manchester! You guys are the best!”
