“Only losing a star for lack of parking and lack of shade on upper fields. But other than that- we LOVE this park. Good officials, plenty of shade on lower fields, nice sidewalks. Opening upper concessions would be REALLY helpful when staffing allows.”

“Ok listen I don't normally do this but I'm gonna pour my heart out so to speak. I love historical people, places& things and let me tell y'all it's kinda like a bittersweet memory of a time almost long forgotten. We often get to caught up in our everyday lives to stop & remember give thanks to the men & women hell even children that died right here fighting 4 our right to believe it!!!! Whatever it is!!! That's what makes this great Nation so beautiful¡¡¡¡ We don't have to believe what anyone else wants us too. We get to choose,we get too be whomever we choose too. America is the home of the free the land of the great we should be kinder to or fellow Americans. For we r all American People!!!! Oh God right go on the trail y'all:-) lol”

“The place was clean, and there was ample staff available to help. They had plenty of dogs and cats to choose from for adoption. We didn't see any young puppies, but they did have four kittens. All of the animals had already been spayed or neutered. Most of the adult cats we're $45 to adopt. They wanted $150 for each kitten. Four stars because three of the four kittens had goopy eyes. We were told they would send drops home with us to fix that, and that their vet would look at them after a week if they still seemed sick.”

“This trail is a favorite. Always watch for uneven spots and people who don't follow common sense rules of the trail like staying to the right so others can pass. Other than that, we appreciate this trail and always feel more balanced after the ride. ????”

“Waterfall Park is a small park in Bass Pro Lake with access to Independence greenway. Despite the name, there isn't a waterfall in the park itself, though it's not far. To see the waterfall, head south from the park to East Bluff Drive and follow the road east a short ways to the waterfall. The westbound lane, closest to the lake is closed to vehicular traffic, so safe to walk in the road. You could also see the waterfall by driving eastbound on East Bluff Drive.”

“My family and I wanted to get out the house and participate in a physical activity before Thanksgiving dinner. We decided to check out this discs golf course for fun. It was my first time playing in a while and the course was great for rusting players/beginners. I can't wait to visit the William Yates Elementary course again!”
