“I find this place to be peaceful and a great place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I visit one of my favorite trees and listen to the water flow. The trails are nice and it really gives you the feeling you can only get when you're surrounded by nature. I would recommend it to anyone especially if you're looking for a place to take your family that doesn't cost a thing. Memories are made at places like this.”

“The place was very cozy. The smell of the food was great all around. The hostess was AMAZING! And friendly. The waitress didn't impress me. But the food was great and decent size for the price. The guacamole could be a little spicy. Thank goodness our hostess kept checking up on us and offered us the actual hot salsas! A little disappointed the beans weren't part of the dish I had though (enchiladas). The chicken for the pillow New Mexico was really good; the veggies in the dish complemented so well. Definitely coming back when in town.”

“Such a great cemetary full of history and famous Kansas Citians. Such a shame it was vandalized for so many years. I'll post some pictures of the cemetary. Just an FYI, all the orange, white, and blue flags are where people are buried, but their tombstones were destroyed and couldn't be recovered.”

“I had part of my bachelorette party here. Six of us sat down and she taught us the basics for making three kinds of pots. A cylinder, bowl and a plate. She went around to each of us checking that the clay was centered and helped fix our clay when we fubbed up. Afterwards we got to pick two to keep. And the cutest thing! She had brought little lemon cakes and peanut MnMs for us to eat while others finished up. It was a cute little set up. She teaches classes too, my mother-in-law took a card and will possibly do it :> Definitely want to do this again!!!”

“Beautiful scenery and awesome trails that wind all through the woods. There are plenty of places to feel secluded but you're never too far from a road and despite there being several tougher trails there's always an easy alternative close by. There's hikers and bikers that share the trails so in some areas you'll have to move over occasionally to let a biker through. In my experience everyone is very nice and nobody has tried to run us down. Great place to get some exercise and take in some beautiful sights.”

Calvary is a private school, but it's not at all pretentious, which we appreciate. Everyone is down to earth, hard working and kind. We love the diversity at Calvary and the focus on academic excellence, spiritual growth, community service, athletic achievement and the creative arts. We can't imagine sending our children anywhere else.”

“Little Bears Den is more than a daycare and preschool, it's a village filled with Love and nurturing support that children and families need to thrive. My children have only been there for 5 months and my 4 yr old is writing, doing simple math, and she learned about the water cycle. My now 1 year old can recognize and say some of his colors, and he' s painting, singing, and learning new things everyday! Little Bears Den has been a blessing to our family and I highly recommend it to any family. I never worry about my children's safety because I know they are in a place where they are loved and cared for like family.”

“This is the first Orthodox church where I ever experienced the ancient, compiled Divine Liturgy handed down by the Apostolic Fathers. Seeing the original true faith in its traditional, unchanged form was consoling. I used to worry about the state of Christianity in our churches but not any longer. The Orthodox have it together, and they know how to teach the faith with unity while quietly working in the background amid all this cultural noise and heterodox.”

“Great well maintained trails. The river trails are pretty easy. If you are more into technical trails you can go into the hills. There are some really technical sections and some fast rolling sections. While these are primarily maintained by mountain bikes, they're open to hikers too.”
