“We recently enrolled our daughter at Eagles Gymnastics and after just two tryouts, we have been absolutely blown away with how much better they are than where she used to train! Staff and coaches alike coach the kiddos and it’s clear they all have a great relationship with the kids & their families. The coaches are wonderful! As gymnasts themselves, they teach actual gymnastics verbiage; teach various techniques by doing it themselves; and because of the 10:1 ratio, coaches are very attentive to each student & are not reserved in spotting their students. Most important to us was that they were honest about our daughter’s level of ability rather than just allowing her to enroll in a class she’s not ready for, despite her previous gymnastics experience. Eagles Gymnastics raises the bar & are really looking forward to a long future with them and their wonderful coaches!”

“I would like very much to share the amazing experience(s) I have had as a client of Barbara while taking her classes since October, 2021. This is my second experience with following a class in Yoga since last taking a class at the YMCA in NKC about three years ago. I think what makes this time around exceptional is the ability to do classes remotely (saving time), but more so the extraordinary opportunity to have discovered classes offered by such an enthusiastic and motivated Yogi as Barbara Anderson. Barbara’s experience, knowledge, skill, energy, and unmatched personality makes this second experience an unparalleled discovery. Since having stopped following classes with my first experience with Yoga classes, I have had challenges with lower back pain at times that I have encountered while working on various home projects as well as while sleeping at night, in addition to planar fasciitis resulting from walking extensively several times a week with old shoes. A visit to a physical therapist was helpful with recommendations for doing stretching exercises before walking. But he also advised me of the need to perform varied types of physical movements in a balanced manner to avoid over use of muscles, ligaments and tendons using only one type of movement. This was the reason I had decided to return to Yoga once again. Barbara's classes (Yoga and Awareness Through Movement) are the reason I find myself more readily able to move into late winter and early spring projects without pre-conditioning, as well as being able to sleep at night without needing to wear a back brace. I have been able to do this while following five to six classes a week with Barbara. It is proof beyond doubt that regular and balanced movement can have a significant impact on your quality of life no matter the age of an individual. As Barbara often says, “Reach, reach, reach!”, and “Reach for the ceiling!” Thanks for the experience.”

“Such a great yoga studio! I’ve done prenatal, partner prenatal, BYOBaby, and restorative postpartum and all have been the perfect blend of supportive community, connective practice, and practical exercises to do outside the studio. The owner, Jenny, is encouraging and incredibly invested in her clients and makes each member of the class feel connected to each other. I know that the breathing techniques Learned at prenatal yoga helped me during my birth- i had the nurses even comment on how helpful the techniques were. I am very grateful for the community at Full Circle and the ways the classes have helped me during multiple phases of motherhood.”

“I’m very hesitant when it comes to joining a gym. I had little CrossFit experience but was ready to make a change for myself. I tried a class about 5 months ago with my boyfriend and I was hooked. The coaches scale everything to your ability and experience level. They are very good with focusing on form which is very important to me. Not only are they great coaches, they are great people outside of the gym. It truly feels like a family environment with no intimidation. I felt instantly comfortable and welcomed when I joined. I can feel myself getting stronger and stronger each week and it’s so rewarding. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Just try it, you’ll love it.”

“The thought of me, doing yoga on a regular basis is something I never thought was possible. I am anxious, I get bored, and I am not great at zen. I like to go! That being said here I am. I am learning to breath, be still, balance, and stretch. I don’t think this would have been possible without Melissa and yoga soul KC. I have never experienced yoga like this. It’s special. It is approachable, without an ounce of judgment or pretension. The class flows in a way to keep me engaged, and never bored. It’s been almost 3 months of regular practice for the first time in my life, and I am feeling the change thanks to this wonderful studio.”

“Love this place! It's a warm & inviting center that has so many ways to heal my body as well as my soul. There's yoga upstairs, a chiropractor, reike massage, regular massage therapist, an astrologer that will read your stars... There's also a cafe that will be opening shortly that is an exciting addition to this building & community.”

“This is an awesome sports gym. They have stores, variety of food shops, smoothie shop, Thai food shop, clothing and more. There are 12 basketball courts under one roof with stadium style seating. They also have a indoor track 350m, very nice Youngliving essential oils education shop, sports fitness and more. Parking for this event was free. Not sure If they charge for other events. Event staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“Biased I have been here a lot. Older and not much potential for improvement. When we get a crowd it becomes a big advantage due to acoustics. Just don't get great crowds.”

“Equal Minded Cafe is a fantastic family owned cafe for getting delicious foods and coffee. They have a nice selection of breakfast pastries, sandwiches and warm food. The coffee shop has a bar with stools and several private tables excellent for meeting friends or clients. They even have an event center perfect for business meetings or corporate retreats! Street parking is right out front and there is even a yoga studio right above the cafe. I highly recommend it if you are in the neighborhood and looking for a local place to relax. A+”

“This place is truly amazing! There is no gimmicks or pressures while you are there - it is seriously just as plain and simple as hanging out with cats for an hour and loving on them! You can pet them, hold them, and play with them with all the cat toys they have. All super sweet cats that aren’t scared of humans and just need some love. All proceeds go towards the cats and they are adoptable ???? everything was clean and kept up and I can’t recommend it enough!”

“Absolutely incredible facility accommodating multiple facets of fitness. Regardless of your goal, they provide you with the tools to reach it. The staff? Top notch. Alexis and Matt are some of the most down to earth people I've ever met and the quality of the gym just shows how passionate they are. I'm a member since day one and can't wait to see them expand and impact as many lives in KC!”

“Since purchasing this and changing over to Blue Bicycle from Benefit, Jan has made great progress in getting this place updated. You can tell she puts a lot of sweat equity into it doing as much as she can herself. This gym continues to be a great bargain considering all the facility and equipment for the money.”

“Great equipment and space that includes things like kettlebells, boxes, battle ropes, etc, for people interested in functional workouts (vs. traditional weight lifting). The locker room is always clean and well lit. The regulars are friendly, but focused.”

“Attended my first Bikram Yoga class tonight and the instructor was Rachelle. In the end I was about in tears and had to hug her to show my sincere gratitude for her guidance and for making me literally feel "better" and whole again in a matter of an hour. I left feeling amazing in my spirit and mind. I lift so tension was in my neck and lower back and in the end during the meditation when he said release it - I used it as a moment between me and God to pray and literally wooooosahhhh! I will definitely be back and make this my "Me Time" away from motherhood and life to rejuvenate my spirit to be the BEST woman I can be. Much needed and appreciated. Thank you!”

“Health & Rehab Facility at Research Hospital. Select hours morn & afternoon for public. Other hours for Rehab therapy. Very good for older adults: walking & swimming. No children or teenagers. Membership by month $35 or year $340 for over 50, $440 under 50. Also 5 or 10 session card $6.50/visit. About once per year close for repairs. Only BAD practice- they don't warn you, and won't refund or pro-rate month you already paid for if repairs occur mid-month no matter how long the pool & hot tub are down.”

“It's a perfect location, very clean and inviting. They offer 0530 classes for those know need to get an early start to the day. My favorite classes are those featuring kettle bells, since I had not trained with them prior to coming to Kamba Fit. I've been coming for about a year and have definitely noticed positive changes. Before, I couldn't so a single pull-up. I can now do 4 of them unaided! For women who are worried about "bulking up," I have not experienced this. I am much stronger, but haven't gained any bulk. Overall, highly recommend.”
