It's small, but that's really nice for me. It's relaxing, and the price to rent the canoe is less than $10/hour. One of my favorite activities in the evening.”

“I typically order via GrubHub, but had some summer interns this year that I wanted to take to lunch, and McAlister’s was the place of choice. Apparently the male interns had been visiting quite often. It was a very clean restaurant, nice employees and the food was just as good as it is every time I order it, I just had the experience of having them plate it and bring it to my table this time. 😉 And I ran into a friend’s mom that I had not seen in months and got a chance to get one of her signature hugs. If good people like that love the place, it’s definitely another good reason to come back.”
