“There's something about the magic tree that really is magical. What looks like just a small tree with lights, is breathtaking when you approach it. My husband loves the magic tree so much so that he tried to recreate it on a similar tree in our yard. He found out how time consuming & difficult it is to create, giving him an even further appreciation to this fun Christmas tradition our family has kept over the years.”

“Things are going well for the 2017 School Year. The Principal, Mrs. Merrell is fantastic. I love how she interacts with the student body and makes everyone feel included. The people in the office are kind and caring but are also dedicated to the safety and security of the students. They have a tough job to do and I appreciate how seriously the office staff is about ensuring that each child is where they should be. If there is ever any question about anything, I get a call. If my child has an injury, I get a call. If my child is having a problem or doing an outstanding job, I get a call.Communication is excellent. Teachers send out email notices and the Principal sends out a reliable monthly newsletter. The PTA is a bit unique in that they are mostly interested in money over volunteering but at least they are up front about it. Changes are communicated by phone, text, email, and flyers are sent home with children. With the challenges that today's schools are faced with, they are doing a great job. Most things are very well organized. We are having a positive experience, and so far my child loves Hazel Grove.”

“The real diamond is Silent Unity- splendid and offers a daily gift to the world. Silent Unity Ministries is the soul redeeming factor of the Unity organization. They truly keep a HIGH WATCH and someone is always praying in the chapel 24 hours a day. So amazing! Unfortunately, the Theological school is not dynamic, driven or responsive. ”

“Gorgeous grounds that are immaculately maintained. I have only attended one summer semester with Unity Institute. This organization seems well organized and the staff is friendly and well intentioned. The organization has built an impressive esoteric library- one of the best in the US. The librarians are truly into their work and will support you in all of your research. Love the cafeteria workers who serve very delicious food, but the cafeteria does serve meat unlike, Unity's heritage cafe which was vegetarian only.”

“Enter Unity Village grounds & feel the peaceful serene Energy. Newly remodeled Hotel & Conference Center (Deer & Beaver right there by entrance). Beautiful spiritual merchandise, including books & CDs; Great Coffee & Tea. Cozy sitting & visiting seatings. Great Sandwiches; I mean really great:) & across from Coffeeshop a sacred prayer circle. Deers laying in every dwellings' front yard. Beautiful hiking trail on 200 acres (I believe). Stop & Smell the Roses at the Unity Fountains surrounding Rose Garden. Definitely a great, quiet, beautiful nature(ed) sacred place. Also, a wonderful place to take some great pictures with incredible background (s).”

“This is one of my favorite hiking trails in the KC Metro. It is a little over 3 miles from the parking lot, through the loop, and back. There is a natural bridge that is beautiful as well as a lake. I also enjoy going here for the meditation labyrinth.”
