Unfortunately, I have a cold or allergies so could not taste very well (not COVID, as I had a negative test a few days ago), but I guarantee I will be back due to the friendliness of the employees. Seems to be tougher and tougher to find a place that treats you like family. This place does and I will make the hour drive from home again...soon.”

“I had to try the place in Blue Springs as the one in Independence has never opened. I am not convinced the Independence location will ever open which is a shame because it's close to me and I would definitely go there more. I had chicken fried chicken and it was good. A decent amount of food for the money. The Blue Springs location was understaffed and the bartender had to come out and take our order and there was only like 3 other customers there eating. You pay at the table. I asked my waitress where everyone was and she said "no one wants to work and they are short on staff". Seems to pretty much the norm since COVID-19 began”

I was amazed at the variety of toppings and crusts, something I don't see in pizzerias in the south. I'm not fond of thin crusts, so it was really nice to have several choices. I was also impressed by the vegetarian options in the toppings list. Best of all, the staff was very friendly and welcoming to this road-weary traveler!”
