Rich gave us a reasonable quote for power washing and staining our deck. He was responsive to my emails and came out to do the work within the time frame he initially quoted. They did a really thorough job staining, getting all the nooks and crannies. I would use them again and would recommend them for this service.

Their team are fast and made sure our floors and furniture were well protected during the whole painting process. I also had a mural of the St Louis skyline painted on our basement wall I just love love love it. They do qualify work I highly recommend Carter Custom Painting for all your painting needs.

Rich and his team were an essential part of my kitchen reno. They were incredibly professional, timely, and detailed. We will absolutely work with them again in the future if needed. For reference: they cleaned everything better than I ever have or will, painted cabinets, all trim on the boxes, inside the boxes with glass doors, and updated all the hardware which required drilling new holes.

Other info: Estimation was insanely easy given he simply requires detailed pictures and we didn’t have to schedule an on-site. He uses Benjamin Moore paints from any color line. Pictured is Kendal Charcoal.

Working with Rich Carter was super easy, and the outcome is great. Rich is very responsive, by email/phone/text, and followed through on his promises. We had our deck pressure washed and stained in a matter of 2-3 days. Rich bid the job by photo, had a crew out to wash and prep the deck the next week, and completed the staining portion 48hrs later - his crew even removed what we hadn’t cleared from the deck! Throughout the project Rich was clear in his promises, quick to respond, and provided experience- and knowledge-based guidance on how best to approach the job. In all, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of the deck project and would recommend Rich and Carter Custom Painting to anyone in need of quality craftsmanship and an honest business owner. We will have Rich and his team out again for sure!
