  We visited for a camping trip in November, so we were there in the off season. The back half of the campground was closed (I’m assuming for the off-season) so we picked a spot closer to the main gate. It’s a beautiful, well-maintained, quiet campground. We also enjoyed hiking several of the trails in the park, which are either within walking distance or a short drive. Watch out for raccoons! They’re very curious and not very timid.

  Knob Noster is a great shaded campground with several easy short hikes. One of our favorites is the mile hike around the lake. Both electric and basic sites are available. Only the host site has electric, water, and sewer. The check-in booth doubles as the mini convenience store and purchase spot for wood or kayak rentals.

  Beautiful campground. Easy to get to from the highway but feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. Campers are super friendly and facilities are nice.

  Very nice park. We were not able to spend the night however we did look everything over. We will definitely be back! The facilities look very clean, even with the park being mostly full. I'm looking forward to spending time here!!

  Had a really great experience at the park. Campground was great and every did a great job observing quiet hours. Staff was really great and so helpful! We went on the trail at the nature center and it was well marked. Also went kayaking with the kids. We will definitely come back again.
