“Great campground we found in a pinch while on the road home to Philly. Was going to book their pet friendly cabin called “the box,” but it was already booked so we just tented. The tenting area is located by a pond. The sounds of the frogs at night was lovely. Would definitely recommend.”

“This park is the best part of the base tbh. The pond is filled with easy to catch fish (Bass, Bluegill and catfish). The playground is new. It has a part meant for older kiddos and a part meant for younger. Lastly, the path encircling it all is perfect for a good run.”

“It is peaceful and home to so many birds. It is a great park to get out to and enjoy nature. Seeing two bald eagles flying in the sky was the highlight of my night.”

“We visited for a camping trip in November, so we were there in the off season. The back half of the campground was closed (I’m assuming for the off-season) so we picked a spot closer to the main gate. It’s a beautiful, well-maintained, quiet campground. We also enjoyed hiking several of the trails in the park, which are either within walking distance or a short drive. Watch out for raccoons! They’re very curious and not very timid.”

“It's great. But I suggest not going there just before deer season. Everyone's there trying to sight in their guns.”

“Cute park, looks like you are in the wrong place when you show up but the disc golf course is tucked in the woods with trails going to each hole. We checked it out and were in flip flops so we did not walk the whole course. Will definitely be back in tennis shoes!! Small bathroom available and a small park for 5-12 (according to the posted sign) year olds. It has a small jungle gym, a 2 swing swing set and a Merry go round. There was also a basketball court that I could see. Would be a very pretty place for pictures!”

“Nice little park! Secluded feeling, as it's surrounded on most sides by woods. Beautiful little grassy area that would be perfect for picnics. Cushy playground area with playground equipment that's interesting enough to keep my kids entertained, plus the slides are that good sticky plastic that kids can climb up. Has a water fountain and a well-maintained portapotty.”

“First time walking trail. Clean & fragrant with all the honeysuckle blooming along the trail. Nice inclines. Wide and graveled trails makes it great for walking, jogging or bicycling.”

“It's always beautiful at traditions with the lovely golf course. We felt the food like the apps and our entrees took a little long but overall the waitress was very nice and put up with my Uncle throwing his extra birthday spoons ???? definitely a place to at least experience as a part of warrensburg”

“This is a brand new all-inclusive park so children with disabilities can play just like other children their age. Equipment is larger and has ramps to accommodate wheelchairs and features a slide with rollers that prevent children from climbing up backwards. The floors are made of a squishy material to cushion falls. There is a paved trail that has beautiful caves which, I think, were part of a limestone quarry for the Johnson County Courthouse and some of the buildings on the UCM campus.”

“A really nice dog park 2 sections one for small dogs and the other for large dogs. It is a fantastic place to take your dog to socialize with other dogs in a very large fenced in area. There are quite a few obstacles for you to play with you dog on as well.”
